The Baseball Team is led by Head Coach Jesse Quintero.
Head Coach Jesse Quintero attended Jordan High School where he played baseball. He played three years on the varsity and helped lead the Panthers to two playoffs appearances. He graduated in 2007 holding the record for highest batting average in a single season. After graduating, Jesse Quintero got right into coaching. He started coaching the JV team at Long Beach Jordan. After one season coaching the JV team, he coached on the Varsity team for four years under Head Coach Marc Prager. In the summer of 2012, he started coaching a college summer team the East LA Dodgers. During the spring of 2016, Coach Quintero was hired to be the head coach at California Miramar University.

About Pitching Coach Johnathon Francisco:

Johnathon Francisco graduated from Temple City High School in 2014. After a quick pit stop at Pasadena City College, he found a home at California Miramar University in 2016. He played for the Fighting Falcons from 2016- 2020.

CMU Fighting Falcons Baseball Team review for 2023-24

Fighting Falcons Baseball finished the regular season 29-22, with a record of 13-2 in our conference alone. This season we achieved the most wins in CMU Fighting Falcon Baseball history. The team has now finished first in our conference 4 years in a row , Making the Playoffs once again .
Baseball has played in 5 states, made history beating our first NCAA Team. We are playing the best baseball at the right time. As we head into the regionals Playoffs once again, here are some Players to watch:

- Steven Matchan - Steven is our starting 2B and team captain. He will hit in the middle of the order and be a catalyst for our offense. He leads the team in stolen bases.
- Joseph Taylor - JT, as we call him is our ace and the leader of our pitching staff. JT has been spectacular all season. He had a rough start early in the year, but has been on top of his game the last couple of outings. JT will be up to the task.
- Claudio Corrales - Claudio is the work horse of our pitching staff leading the team in appearances and innings pitched. Claudio has pitched in some big games the last couple of seasons. With his experience starting game 1 of the playoffs we believe this will be his best playoffs.
